We are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for an organised, customer-focused individual to join our established Retirement Advice Solutions business area as a Business Support Officer.
Within this exciting opportunity, the successful candidate will provide strong levels of support to our Retirement Advice Solutions business, by overseeing new pension product applications, ensuring these are completed fully and accurately, and processing them accordingly.
You’ll liaise with customers, Financial Advisers and third-party pension providers, to ensure a positive and consistent LV= customer journey, enabling our financial advisers to deliver advice effectively, and subsequently helping us release pension funds in accordance with appropriate regulations.
The role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis (35 hours per week). Hybrid working may be possible once a period of training has been completed successfully, however the role will be predominately based from our Bournemouth office.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing strong administrative support to both the financial advisory and non-advisory teams, plus the Equity Release department where required.
- Taking ownership of retirement product sales being completed, ensuring all SLAs are adhered to.
- Progressing and monitoring applications from submission to an issued status – this will include corresponding with customers, Financial Advisers and third-party pension providers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Gathering detailed pension scheme information at pre-application stage to support with adviser calls and adding the information into back-office systems accurately.
- Creating and distributing packs to customers, ensuring that all relevant paperwork is included and is accurate.
- Completing ad-hoc administration and calls when required, to support the success of the Retirement Advice Solutions business area.
- Meeting consumer requirements, in line with the relevant compliance policies.
- Consistently prioritising customer experience and ensuring customer data is handled sensitively and in line with GDPR requirements.
About You
Our ideal candidate will…
- Demonstrate strong administrative experience (within an annuity/pension-focused business - an IFA or pension provider would be desirable but is not essential).
- Be an excellent communicator, with the ability to listen well and record information accurately.
- Have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to spot possible errors or spelling mistakes and ask for further information when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
- Be passionate about providing a consistently positive customer service experience.
- Be self-motivated, with good organisation skills and the ability to manage your workload and diary independently.
- Be part of a team with the ability to collaborate on projects and group work where necessary.
- Support our continuous improvement efforts and contribute your suggestions to the team.
- Possess good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office programmes and telephony systems.
- Possess some knowledge of the Financial Services industry (desirable but not essential).
- Be CF4-qualified (desirable but not essential – we can support you with this qualification within the role).
