We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Executive to join our Direct Marketing team at LV= reporting into the Direct Marketing Manager.
As our Social Media Executive, you’ll bring ideas to life through standout social content that sparks engagement, builds connection and amplifies our voice where it matters most. Working collaboratively across the business, you’ll turn insight into impact - curating, creating and coordinating content that not only supports our business goals but actively strengthens and protects our reputation across a diverse social media landscape. This is a role where you’ll bring new ideas to the table and build strong relationships across the business - always thinking ahead and shaping content for what’s next.
This role is hybrid – 3 days in the Bournemouth office, with two days working from home.
Key Accountabilities:
- Plan, create and publish social media content across a range of platforms
- Be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of LV’s social media presence on platforms including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram
- Coordinate the social media calendar, engaging with and involving key stakeholders.
- Work with third party agency partners to activate Paid Social campaigns where necessary.
- Monitor social media activity and report on key performance indicators (KPI’s).
- Own the content calendar for all LV= owned social media channels to ensure that all social media activity is aligned, compliant with regulations and reflective of our brand identity and values.
- Work with relevant teams, to ensure that appropriate compliance and processes are in place to enable customer feedback and complaints to be addressed in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Conduct regular social listening, to include monitoring, capturing, and responding accordingly to feedback.
- Proactively identify new social media campaigns and opportunities that will help deliver organisational objectives.
- Coordinate responses to any social media issues providing sound guidance and escalation where appropriate.
- Occasional work on broader digital assets such as web pages as part of any social media campaigns.
- Act as a brand guardian ensuring our messaging is consistent and aligned.
About You:
- Knowledge of social media channels and how they can be used to achieve business objectives.
- Experience of running social media channels on a day-to-day basis.
- Experience of performance marketing channels and how social media can support a broader marketing programme.
- Experience of working with creative tools (e.g. Canva) to deliver standout brand assets.
- Knowledge and understanding of social media management tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Innovative and creative thinker with strong process and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across departments.
- Self -motivated with a desire to constantly seek improvements and deliver excellence.
Understanding of financial services is desirable but not essential
