We have a unique opportunity for a proactive, analytical individual to join our Internal Audit team as an Auditor.
As a leading UK life and pensions mutual insurer with a proud history dating back to 1843, we exist to help people live financially confident lives, protecting their income while they work and maximising it when they stop. Today, over one million members and customers trust us to look after their futures, families and finances.
Joining LV= means becoming part of a purpose-led mutual that puts members, customers and advisers at the heart of what we do. We are building a modern, insight-led assurance function that helps the business make better decisions, manage risk well and deliver with confidence.
We are committed to creating an inclusive culture where colleagues can thrive. We are proud to have built a workplace where our colleagues feel welcomed, respected, supported and valued, reflected in our recognition as one of the Financial Times UK’s Best Employers in 2025 and 2026.
This early-career role suits graduates and candidates with relevant experience, and an interest in Internal Audit. Working with experienced colleagues, you’ll support risk-based audits, assess processes and controls and turn findings into practical insights. A key part of this role will be to analyse data using tools such as Fabric, Excel, KNIME and Power BI to test full data populations. Financial services experience is helpful but not essential - curiosity, problem-solving, confidence with technology and a willingness to learn will matter most. You’ll gain broad business exposure, contribute to data-led assurance, automation and responsible AI, and be supported to develop your skills.

- Support risk-based audits by understanding processes, assessing risks and controls, and gathering clear, accurate evidence.
- Use powerful tools to analyse data, identify trends and exceptions, and produce clear insights and reporting.
- Contribute to walkthroughs and stakeholder discussions, drafting balanced findings and practical improvements.
- Help make audits more efficient and insight-led through data, automation, technology and responsible AI.
- Build strong working relationships, take ownership of your development and work towards a relevant professional qualification.
- Demonstrate integrity, objectivity and respect for confidential information.
About You
Our ideal candidate will…
- Have a degree level qualification or practical experience in data science, computing, coding, statistics, AI engineering or applied mathematics.
- Be able to use data to solve problems, identify patterns and support decisions, prove hypothesis and have an interest in developing analytics or automation.
- Be curious, analytical and comfortable exploring unfamiliar topics, with strong attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly, be organised and proactively manage actions, evidence and deadlines.
- Show integrity, objectivity and sound judgement when handling sensitive information.
- Be motivated to learn, embrace new technology and build a career in modern Internal Audit, including working towards a relevant professional qualification.
- Financial services experience and previous use of analytics, coding, dashboards or visualisation tools are desirable but not essential.
