We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and analytical Supply Chain Risk Manager to join our Third Party Management team.
You will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and execution of supply chain risk management strategies, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across third-party suppliers. The role will be based at our Bournemouth office on a hybrid working pattern.
Key Responsibilities
•Support the Senior Supply Chain Risk and Operations Manager in the development and implementation of supply chain risk management strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
•Support the oversight and maintenance of the risk assessment framework, ensuring alignment with company policies and evolving regulatory standards.
•Manage relationships with high-risk suppliers and support crisis response efforts during supply chain disruptions.
•Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate risk considerations into sourcing and operational decisions.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives for risk identification, mitigation, and monitoring processes.
•Report on key risks, mitigation strategies and progress updates.
•Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and governance forum, compiling evidence and supporting in the drafting of responses.
•Contribute to maintaining and enhancing of the Supply Chain Risk Framework to ensure regulatory compliance with both new and existing regulations.
•Support regulatory horizon scanning of developing data and processes to reflect up-coming regulatory change.
•Lead supplier risk initiatives, including scenario-based workshops to assess business dependencies, identify risk exposures, and collaborate with stakeholders to close gaps.
•Drive the development and maintenance of business-wide exit plans for all material suppliers, supporting senior stakeholders with updating their plans as new supplier engagements occur.
•Support the creation of regular management information reports and dashboards in collaboration with colleagues.

•Insurance industry experience.
•Source to Contract systems implementation experience.
