As a leading UK life and pensions mutual insurer with a proud history dating back to 1843, we exist to help people live financially confident lives – protecting their income while they work and maximising it when they stop. We’re committed to creating an inclusive culture where colleagues can thrive. We are proud to have built a workplace where our colleagues feel welcomed, respected, supported and valued – reflected in our recognition as one of the Financial Times UK’s Best Employers in 2025 and 2026.
We celebrate individuality and believe our differences make us stronger, so bring your true self and help shape the future of LV=.

Working within the Data Office, you'll help deliver and mature our data governance and data management capabilities, including data quality, data catalogue, metadata, master data, lineage and data stewardship, ensuring trusted, well-governed data that supports business decision-making and regulatory compliance.

•Identify and mitigate data risks, implementing controls and supporting governance audits, monitoring, and reporting activities.
•Partner with Data Owners, Stewards, IT, Compliance, and business stakeholders to improve data management practices and drive accountability across the organisation.
•Act as a Data Management SME, providing guidance, training, and support to strengthen data literacy and mature stewardship capabilities.
•Support data migration, remediation, and transformation initiatives, ensuring enterprise data assets remain accurate, complete, and reliable.
•Contribute to governance forums, design authorities, and strategic data projects, providing expert input on data management capabilities and best practices.

    About You
•Experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Risk Management, ideally within Financial Services or another regulated environment.
•Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality, metadata, lineage, and master data management.
•Experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Fabric/Azure, or similar data governance platforms.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, SQL and stakeholder management skills.
•Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
•Experience with data migration, remediation, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms.
