Within the role, you’ll manage your workload effectively to meet targets, respond in a timely manner to adviser queries received via phone and webchat, and continuously maintain current knowledge of equity release criteria in a rapidly changing market, allowing you to make timely and accurate decisions.
This is a permanent role, based at our Hitchin office, offered on a hybrid working model in line with business requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Within this role, you will…
- Monitor team and individual mailboxes, ensuring emails are reviewed and responded to promptly.
- Respond to adviser queries via webchat, providing accurate and up-to-date information.
- Maintain current knowledge of equity release criteria and developments within a rapidly changing market.
- Handle adviser calls professionally, providing clear and accurate information.
- Make prompt and accurate decisions on whether a case meets the relevant acceptance criteria, providing clear justification for each outcome.
- Review documents and data efficiently, identifying key information while maintaining close attention to detail.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality, attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and teams across the organisation.
- Provide support to colleagues where required.
About You

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- The ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, changing environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to plan, manage and prioritise your workload in response to customer needs.
- The ability to manage complex cases independently while supporting the team to achieve key targets.
- A proactive approach to anticipating and responding to the evolving needs of the business and industry.
- The confidence to make sound, pragmatic decisions on individual cases in line with regulatory requirements and LV= values.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
