We’re hiring a People Partner to join our People Delivery & Advisory team. In this role, you’ll work closely with People Team colleagues and senior business leaders to deliver a range of People (HR) projects. You’ll provide coaching and guidance on topics such as employee relations, organisational change, and People planning, helping to ensure our people initiatives are aligned with business needs and delivered effectively. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver People initiatives that support business goals, improve employee experience, and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be trusted to deliver, advise, and support leaders across the business. If you’re organised, proactive, and confident working across a range of People topics, we’d like to hear from you.
We offer hybrid working; however, your presence will be required in our Bournemouth office. Please note that this role is part-time, 28 hours per week. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, covering maternity leave.
About You
•Experience leading People projects and supporting organisational change.
•A broad HR/ People background with knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
•Ability to set the strategic direction for multiple projects and deliver work to a high standard.
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
•Confidence to advise and challenge constructively.
•A practical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
•Experience working with senior leaders in a complex organisation.
•Strong understanding of people-related risk and compliance requirements.
•CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent experience essential.
The Details
•Deliver core People activities including talent reviews, DEI and wellbeing strategies, performance management, succession planning, and engagement surveys.
•Provide advice and guidance to leaders on employee relations and people-related matters.
•Lead and manage People projects across different business areas, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time and to a high standard.
•Lead change programmes and People cycle activities, identifying and managing risks where needed.
•Coach colleagues across the People Team to improve consistency and efficiency in how we deliver services.
•Manage relationships with external providers such as Occupational Health and wellbeing partners.
•Act as a point of escalation for Mental Health First Aiders and support the Employee Consultative Forum.
•Facilitate training sessions for leaders on People practices building capability and confidence.
•Ensure compliance with our risk governance framework, including conduct and reward processes.
•Use data and technology to improve how we deliver services and make decisions.
•Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.
