We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who can support LV= Wealth Proposition Director (Business Sponsor) in shaping roadmap, requirements and subsequent delivery.
You will have previous experience in and be responsible for managing change delivery in accordance with company change governance, delivering objectives and benefits within agreed cost, time and quality constraints.
Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team of PMs, BAs, development and test resources to achieve the programme objectives.
This is a permanent role, we support Hybrid working but would like to see you in either our Hitchin or Bournemouth offices a minimum of two days a week.
Key Accountabilities / About You
• Support Sponsor in shaping the roadmap and requirements definition
• Manage change delivery in line with LV Project Management Framework
• Support sponsor to deliver objectives & benefits within cost, time and quality constraints, including Project definition, Project Planning, Progress reporting, Issue / Risk Management, Dependency Management, Budget Management, Stakeholder management
• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team to achieve programme objectives.
• Leads project teams through change delivery cycle proficiently, using the most appropriate project management methodology,
• Engagement and management of third party suppliers as well as internal resources
Skills & Experience
• Experience of managing a range of complex projects or programmes, across different portfolios or business functions, with multiple stakeholders and suppliers ideally within Financial Services.
• Ability to apply PM skills to more complex situations, and to support sponsor in shaping the structure and delivery approach of the project/ programme. Ability to define governance structures for multiple / larger projects.
• Knowledge and experience of different project management methodologies & tools; including waterfall, agile and hybrid, together the ability to apply them in a way which optimises the project team’s ability to deliver.
• Likely to have relevant PM / Agile PM certification, relevant degree or QBE.
• Strong communication & influencing skills, with ability to present to and facilitate larger groups, up to Exec level.
• Relationship and stakeholder management skills up to Exec level Experience of managing internal and external delivery partners.
• Good MS Office and project software skills.
• Strong Commercial / business awareness.
• Some line management / mentoring experience and ability to lead, across multidisciplinary teams.
