About the role
LVFS are seeking a confident and experienced Business Account Manager.
This role is a home/telephone based role and you will be working on a panel of accounts for Financial Advice Intermediaries within a sales territory. Working alongside a Business Development Manager, you will gain and retain profitable business into the LV= Savings and Retirement department. This is achieved by being technically competent and highly knowledgeable in our chosen market segments, with the ability to present and position the LV= Savings and Retirement proposition to intermediaries whilst delivering the correct customer outcome at all times.
Working from home you will demonstrate motivation and prior sales experience in Savings and Retirement products (Pensions & Investments experience is essential)

Our ideal candidate will...
• Possess a high level of LV= product knowledge and awareness of our overall retirement proposition, including services and technical support.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, and competently be able to present information via phone and video conferencing.
• Accurately apply technical knowledge to adviser/client scenarios.
• Hold strong market and competitor knowledge.
• A good listener, with empathy towards our customers.
• Possess strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Be a competent user of computer software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and appropriate CRM systems.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise workload.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• QCF Level 4 qualified or willing to work towards this.
• Understand the financial drivers and metrics, and how your individual, account and team goals relate to them.
• Have strong experience of working with life, pensions, savings and retirement products. (ideally with some knowledge of onshore bonds).
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include...
• Meeting and exceeding targets and deadlines
• Working alongside the Business Development Manager to achieve the territory or panel target, input into business planning, and review financial objectives
• Meeting and exceeding business objectives and KPIs, including call volumes, quotations, applications, and business retention
• Maintaining consistent and increased levels of support from existing supporting advisers and firms, by making calls, using WebEx and other video conferencing functionality to present the LV= proposition
• Increasing the volume of supporting advisers at firm and panel level within your territory
• Maintaining and developing your knowledge of:
• The LV= Savings & Retirement proposition as a whole
• Competitor product offerings and our competitive positioning
• Technical and Sales skills to enhance personal effectiveness and efficiency
• Consistently adhering to LV= standards, policies, and procedures within your role, including but not limited to Compliance and Conduct Risk
• Maintaining accurate record keeping and reports for the business.
